I have a passion for families.

Raising a family was once something I took for granted. Education and career came first, and when I was blessed with my first son, I thought he would blend seamlessly into the successful life my husband and I had created together. Was I ever wrong! Suddenly, life began to revolve around him, and his increasingly significant needs. At only twelve months old, he stopped talking and looking at us. He had many physical symptoms of illness:  rashes, chronic diarrhea, unable to fall asleep or stay asleep.  My pleas for help from the pediatrician fell on deaf ears. When the diagnosis of autism came, we were devastated. It turned out that my son was physically ill. I made a vow to God that I would bless, help and encourage others using what I learned on my own quest to help my child.
